Navigation, Mapping software for Latin America

I haven't found anything other than Navit (open source) and old Garmin nSource software. Navit is promising but takes way too much time to get right so I'm going to buy a Garmin. Any recommendations? I would like to go with slightly used but it needs to be easy to load with downloaded maps.

Navigation, Mapping software for Latin America

I use a touchscreen and a netbook in my vehicle. With this machine I have music (via XBMC), navigation (Microsoft S&T 2011) and I can take it into a cafe for web surfing. I'm planning a trip from the states down to Argentina and back. Obviously this eliminates Microsoft's software from the...

Pro Comp 16x8 wheels on a 60 series landcruiser?

The 7" rims cleared the calipers by a sliver and the tie-rod ends by about 1/4". Looks like I'm good.

Pro Comp 16x8 wheels on a 60 series landcruiser?

Ordered 6 Unique 42-7760 16x7" ris at discount tire. They are confident it will fit but I'm nervous. If they don't I'm kinda SOL as I have to leave town and can't wait to order something else. Anybody tried these on a 60?

Pro Comp 16x8 wheels on a 60 series landcruiser?

The backspacing needs to be right to avoid affecting the stance, the center opening must be large enough for the hubs, and the spokes have to be at such an angle that they clear calipers, tie rod ends, etc. All 6x5.5" wheels are not alike, unfortunately. From looking through Discount Tire's...

Pro Comp 16x8 wheels on a 60 series landcruiser?

I'm thinking about going to 16" tires. This calls for an upgrade from the 15x6.6" stock rims (6x5.5" lug and 3.75" backspace). The Pro Comp Rock Crawler Series 87 is available in 16x8 with a 3.75" backspace. Since I don't want to widen my stance anymore than necessary, this seems like the...

I'm going to pull the trigger shortly. Still 50/50 on which way I'll go. Any pointers?

    Norcold NRF-30 or Engel MT27F?

I'm looking for a fridge to stick in my '84 HJ60. I'm tight on space (maximum depth 23") so I'm looking at the 30L Norcold NRF-30 and the 27L Engel MT27F. The Norcold sells for over $200 less than the Engel. It appears to be a new model for this year and nobody has one locally. I'm inclined...
