I have reservations about stacked batteries as well.... one thing about Jeep parts; Most of them are made with profit in mind, instead of function... and it seems like to get a well thought out product.... it usually costs double :/

I try to keep mine as close to stock as possible.. mainly to lower the possibility that I'll need parts I can't get.... but the number 1 failures are always battery, and tire. Those are the 1st things you shoul prepare for... Spare belts and other things that are light weight, low cost...

A bugout vehicle is a great secondary purpose for a vehicle... especially an overlander... with the world the way it is.. why wouldn't someone give this at least a little thought.

A stock Rubicon with lockers and sway bar disconnect is plenty to tackle ANY expedition trail that I've heard of... (of course with proper recovery equipment) . On a sport, or sahara, I would recomment sway bar disconnects, and at least a rear locker as upgrades... . All...

There's one simple reason that my JK has no equal.. Doors, and tops off. Like most people I spend 98% of my time on road. I think there are a number of vehicles that will -work- for overlanding maybe not rock crawling (which the JK has no stock equal)... and those other vehicles...

Doh! I sorta hate to hear that.. I'm already fighting the urge to order a 2012.... The new engine is a huge selling point.. The new 5 speed auto transmission is a huge selling point.. I hear that they have a REAL orange color coming back to the line.. a huge selling point for me.. And now...

I don't care much about adjustable head rests.. It's not like I rest my head while driving anyhow :) Those Corbeau look pretty snazzy... wonder if there are any reviews out there on 'em? I'll see what i can find..

I'm 6'2" and 240lb... I own an '07 JKU RUB (did they change the seats in the '11s?).. No particular back problems.. JK is DD, but I'm working on outfitting it as an overland vehicle as well.. I've done a little rock crawling, quite a bit of primitave road traveling.. it has an OME lift...

So, I'm mighty unhappy with the stock JK seats.. particularly the buckets in the front... After an hour or so it 'em I am ready to just buy a plane ticket.. I've been spoiled by my wifes Jag.... and I never expect to reach that level of comfort in an off roader..... but are there any seat...

NM just found them :) How large is it folded down? and how long to 'set up' camp with this tent?
