Great illustration of how the black wheels become a visual black hole in photos, while alloy colored (and many others) "pop". Imho , the smb would look perfect with body colored wheels.
NWow. While I feel like I've definitely done my due diligence and actually had my father pick up the van and take it to an independent garage before purchasing, The fact remains:
I just sent a boatload of money to a man I've never met for a van I've never seen, and more money to another man...
O ff the top of my head, could you remove the plastic contour on the passenger rear, then move the bed over towards passenger side to gain more room for cabinets on driversides? That could net you 4-5"?
I assume you NOT on 20" wheels?
On my F 150, I ran 20s in the summer , then 18s in the winter. Was always amazed at the ride difference. Just pulling out of the tire store it felt like being completely different truck.
Found this one 2300 miles from my house and put deposit down on it. I thought a wheel chair van was a wheelchair van was a wheel chair van. Silly me. They come in as many configurations as Sportsmobile s.
Yeah, that's the one. I don't samba much anymore because Everetb movesmy threads to off topic and reminds me that I am not a Vanagon.:ylsmoke:
