    Tires Getting Spiked On Trail

I grew up relatively close to that part of the state and am fairly familiar with that area. I'm pretty sure there are no enviro-nazis or hippy protestor types within a 150 mile radius (or however far OKC or Dallas is). I would expect either locals in a rattle-can camo 1983 ford that don't like...

ROUTE 66: Oklahoma to Kansas to Missouri

Pops in Arcadia has good burgers and about a million different types of bottled soda if you are ever by there again when they are open. Looks like a fun trip!

2010 Tacoma TRD Off-Road... Thinnest tire I can run on stock wheels?

I just don't get the skinny tire thing, you all must not like turning at more than 3mph. I think 265s are skinny. here comes the flaming....

    2012 Tacoma Doublecab work truck

Man on my 08 everything I read was that it was a non-maintenance type, not supposed to touch it until 100k. They may be different this year.... I'd go SAW, Fox, or King on the coilovers, and I'd probably think about a heavier than stock spring for them if you're gonna run all that crap...

    245/75-16 or 265/75-16 on 3rd Gen 4Runner?

Man I would go with AT LEAST a 265/75/16 if you plan on lifting 2", but I'm a big tire fan, I love the cushier ride and grip offroad. I don't think C-D-E makes much difference on ride quality, I've run them all and didn't notice a difference. All squat fine when aired down. Here are a few...

    Trans-America Trail

WAY late to the party here, but yeah that would be a blast I think. I'm itching to do the OK section next spring/summer when it's dry (I don't like mud). I did most of the Arkansas section last spring (Damascus and west) and 95% of it could've been done in a Honda Civic. And 100% of it I feel...

Custom 35 gallon gas tank for '09 Tacoma

X-ray wont see through steel, unless they have something better than we use at the hospital. we don't have anything that will see through it, and infra-red is the only thing I knew of that would. and I don't think air-temperature drugs would show up on that either. I dunno?

Custom 35 gallon gas tank for '09 Tacoma

WOW. I've been debating between Taco and Tundra for my next rig, but thinking about 500+ miles per tank makes me happy! hmmmmmmmm
