My take on a Camping/ Expo Trailer Build

Our grand plans of leaving early the next morning...yeah, that didn't happen. We finally hit the road around 0945/ 1000. By this time in our journey the sights had changed drastically, as we traveled along the waters of Lake Michigan and Superior for the remaining 8 hours of our trip...

My take on a Camping/ Expo Trailer Build

I've been horrible with posting updates. I ended up taking the jeep and trailer on a 1700 mile trip this past summer. My cousin and I made the drive from Maryland to Mackinac/ St. Ignace Michigan in one day. We headed out at 0430 hours and made it to our camp site at Straights State Park by...

You've got a nice rig there! What's you're take on the CVT enclosed room for the awning? I've been thinking about getting one for my 79" CVT. Mainly to increase my live able space and sleeping space for family/ friends. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Family of 5 (8, 3 and 1 yo), plus our shepherd, makes 6. We have a CVT Mt. Rainier with the annex, works well for us. I will second the mattress thickness. While in ok with it, the boss really isn't. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My take on a Camping/ Expo Trailer Build

I got around to installing the LED light strips on my awning. The strips are 24" long and drawl .36A. The light output is pretty good. Haven't run them at night yet (on the trailer), but having them in my house, they definitely lit the room up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My take on a Camping/ Expo Trailer Build

I got around to installing the awning (79" CVT). The combo looks good. I also skinned the back corner (black diamond plate) and added a brace on the underside where I installed my propane tank. When we get back from our up coming trip I'm going to work on finishing up the diamond plate...

Rtt Tepui or CVT Rugged or not? Is it worth it?

I just picked up a CVT Mt. Rainier. Its the standard version, non Summit Series. I'm very impressed with it! The fabric is thick, durable rip stop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My take on a Camping/ Expo Trailer Build

I just did a redo of the trailer, with the thanks of a friend for welding the rack, rear tire carrier and the fenders/ bumpers. I topped it with a CVT Mt. Rainier tent and a 79" CVT awning which I still need to install. I also added the tongue box which houses an 8 gallon water tank, Camp Chef...

Tire advice needed: Cooper Discovery AT3 on LJ

The Cooper AT3 's are a phenomenal tire! I put a set on my wife's Commander. They're now 2 years old, and have seen every condition. In fact, they handle great in the rain. I've had them down washboard gravel roads and through blizzard snow conditions. I would recommend this tire to anyone...

    2010 patriot soft roader build.

My wife and I had a 2012 Patriot. Special ordered it with the off road package (skids and FDII Transaxel with low range) and the tow group. We both loved it. Handled snow with ease. While, we never had the opportunity to take it to the beach, it did handle back gravel roads and friends farm...
