yep! i had the same thought -but after it was mounted. my oldest son is driving the lr4 sometimes and i was really a kind of nervous when the asked me what is this switch for.....

hi, the cars are converted here in austria - to save some tax the cargo room has to be at least 110cm then the tax office accept it as a commercial truck. this stubid law makes it nearly impossible that somebody can sit on the rear seats....... regards adi

thanks hi, thanks again for the positive feedback. scott is right - in my sight this is the perfect lr4 . except the strong diesel enging together withe the 8 speed transmission and the all terrain respons it is just like a defender -if you go offroad you don't have to worry that much about...

windows hi, no - you can buy the discovery here as a so called commercial-truck - it comes without windows and you save about 32 % of tax. it has just seats 4 seats and it has to have a wall beetween the cargo room and the seats. regards from tyrol adi

lr4 diesel hi again - and this time in the right thread. i just finished my "personal project" lr4 discovery the tires i use are cooper st maxx 275/70/18 which is slightly higher than 33" and about 10,5" wide - the wheels are from compomotive in england. i was surprised when i drove the lr4...
