The perimeter lights are 55W driving lights that are mounted to the underside of the bike trays and thule box. The Yakima bike trays have a channel that small carriage bolts slide right into making the lights super easy to mount. Here is a night time shot, a poor one at that, but gives you the general idea of how things line up.
A close up of the passengers side perimeter light.
A front view with every light blazing. The top lights are some cheaper hella 500 series lights that are going to be used for offroad/backroads only. Too much light spill from that high up would blind oncoming cars.
After giving up the idea of buying new wheels I decided to paint the stockers. Super straight forward prep...clean, scuff, clean, apply paint.
The wheels were rattle canned with Rustoleum Hammered Dark Bronze paint! 3 light coats and they were completely covered with a good amount of material.
The engine bay as it sits finally finished!
And the truck on the road. I started traveling but will continue to update with pictures of miscellaneous interior shots and changes that I make along the way. I will be updating a travel blog at
www.276KEY.com when I run across some Wi-Fi spots.
Also, my galleries can be found at
photos.276key.com where I have more truck pictures and a few detail shots that I didn't feel like posting. More or less the melting pot of all my photos.
