P1148 alt code. Mine used to throw that code regularly. Replaced a faulty AC compressor and never had it since.
Only concern with the AC blowing hot air is the amount of gas it takes. 64 oz from memory. AC probably suffered from a lack of use.

Just bought a 4x4 Ambulance. 1993 Wheeled Coach Mini-Mod 7.3L IDI non-turbo diesel. Just started the demo and interior planning. WOW. I have alot of work to do. We are planning on a 2014 departure if all goes to plan. Here is what she looked like when I bought her.

You're right! The offer is in so I should know today. I was just waiting to see what the AC needed to get it fixed.

My AC was just working so-so. They told me it would be $180 to charge the system, but it looks like an old system so maybe buku bucks to convert it from freon to whatever is legal in CA now. I live close to the border, so maybe a TJ run will be in order for a cheap freon charge.
