'05-'07 Tacoma recovery points

Not having a new Tacoma handy to look at, are there any stock recovery points on the front? If not, is there an easy way to add some without putting on a whole new bumper?

Yes, there is one recovery point and one shipping tie-down point located on either side of the front engine skid plate.

The Off-Road models come with a good recovery hook in place of the shipping tie down found on the other models as well as having the standard tow hoop.

My 2006 TRD Off Road model has the large, cast recovery point (which accepts a standard strap) on the passenger side and a bent-wire, fairly wimpy-looking loop on the driver side. I assumed this is for shipping or tie-down onto a flatbed only.

Believe it or not the other models actually have an even less impressive shipping tie down where our cast hook is on the passanger side.:smilies27
