'07 Power Wagon w/ Ute bed, extras, warranty

After months of debate and years of ownership, I have decided to part with my Power Wagon. I have built her to do anything/everything well, not break, fix factory deficits, and above all -a joy to drive. I am the original owner after she did 2k miles on the corporate show stand, hence very well equipted: leather heated seats, rear DVD entertainment, nav, etc, as well as all the PW extras(winch, limitted slip, lockers F&R, sway disconnects, +2", etc)- all the bells and whistles to which I added extended bumper to bumper Chrysler warranty, good for another 2 years I believe. She just turned 20k miles in the sunny south, so zero rust issues, and garaged to boot. I initially added a Ranch Hand bumper, customized the brackets to fit the PW, and a 1" leveling shim to the front springs. Then I set out to fix the lousy factory steering using Thuren upper and lower custom links to facilitate 37's with no lift, Thuren track bar, and the updated '09 steering fix from Chrysler at Don Thurens suggestion(new drag link and tierod), as well as the Fox damper. I was still not happy, so added the PSC steering brace as well as ram assist from PSC(new ps pump valved by PSC also)- very expensive fix, but fixed!! I was content for a bit, but after fitting a Flippac and not using it, removed same and the factory bed replacing it with an aluminum Ute bed from Oz- super cool upgrade, and way more practical. Since we did an Oz bed, added an Oz sourced Airflow snorkle. She still needed something, and decided to upgrade to the SRT hood which helped engine bay temps substantially. Add a set of BFG KM2 37/12.50-17 tires. Then the bed looked a bit empty, so added a tool box with a custom spare mount, Hi Lift jack with mount, and CO2 tank. I wouldn't change a thing at this point, but have decided to keep the '11 F250 diesel at the family's urging and in an effort to finally reduce to two vehicles. Truely my loss and your gain. I am listing it here only for a couple weeks, and if unsold, putting it back to stock and off to Ebay. $39,950, pm for pics but will get some posted as soon as I can, though there are some random ones floating about Portal. Thanks for looking, and feel free to email at dknepp@carolina.rr.com or call at 704. 624. 1954 Cheers, Dale

A couple other things came to mind when getting pics together. First, '07 was the end of the 138"(?) wheelbase, which was then stretched about 10"- big concern for maneuverabiltiy, especially offroad. And of course, '07 got the infamous new headlight treatment, AND the quick touch self cancelling three blink lane change blinkers- huge improvement:) I have also included a pic of the MSRP sticker, and should make mention '07 was the last year without TPMS, and this one does include the side curtain airbags. I have also fitted a retractable bed access step from Amp Research. More items will return to memory given time...

been to Uwharrie, and stretched out here on the farm on various trails, works great, and super stable. Handles amazingly well for a full size, similar feel to the Land Rovers off road ironicly. Though it has not seen Moab, Blanca and the like as it was conceived as a do-it-all expedition type truck, and for that it has well exceeded expectations.

Damn that is a nice truck...
You made a lot of change that few would appreciate but are awesome none the less.
I wish you the best of luck with the sale, hopefully it will go to a new owner that really appreciates it!

No, the intercooler that goes along with the Diesel interferes with the front winch mount so it never happened.

Has it even been thoroughly trail tested yet?

As a follow-up, please take a look at my website, and you will see this is not a first for me by a long shot. In fact, please take a look at the TJ on the sold page...

Thanks guys for the kind words- I too hope it goes to an appreciative new owner.
Cheers

Very well done..To bad you don't need a good do all mule I have one that is worth about that much

If you mean mule as in 4 legged, not a good subject, as the donkey got out yesterday and caused quite a stir:) If you mean 4 wheeled, shoot me a pic :)

Muleshoer has a very nice IIa you might just recognize:ylsmoke:

If you don't know Dale, I can vouch for him and that he goes to great lengths when building a rig, that this was his personal rig tells me he went to great time and effort to build it as that is his obsession. I've seen this rig in person and it is amazing.

I was just curious if you had a chance to take it out and play in between modifications. I wasn't questioning it's quality or abilities. The PW is in a niche market and it will very likely sell soon.

Thanks for the kind words Matt, and no worries ZJ, just didn't want to leave it as a possible negative connotation. While I am a bit biassed, this PW still makes me smile every time I get in it...
