08 front bumper mounting?

i am thinking about building a front bumper for my truck (08 tacoma) and had a few questions. is the factory crumple zone, acordian frame section need attention? meaning, if i build a bumper and use this as my anchor point for a tow or some day mount a winch do i need to reinforce the frame at the crumple zone? i notice that most all after market winches mount in the factory location, so i assume this would not be a problem but was just looking for a verification. thanks

Not sure what you are asking? Are you wondering if you need to cap the ends (like the 1st gen Tacos)? For my ARB, the bumper mounts to a new supporting brace that bolts to the sides of the frame. The winch then bolts to the bumper.

behind were the factory bumper mounts is the crumple zone in the frame. does this need reinforcement in order for a custom bumper to function as a adequate winching/pullpoint?
