This is was really fun to experience through your eyes! We took off for Baja in a Honda Accord in the early nineties in June - and loved every minute of it. Can't wait to try it again in the jeep. What a great read! Thank you!

Thanks for the great writeup and pics! Were you able to find ULSD diesel fuel all the way down the peninsula? Diésel Ultra Bajo Azufre? I’ve driven 2x to Cabo from San Francisco but now I drive a diesel.

One of the old missions in your pictures, my wife and I have been there. I searched and found it, about an hour SW of Loreto. Misión San Francisco Javier de Viggé-Biaundó. Gotta love the internet.
