Copy from Ebay ad:

Well, sadly the time has come to have three vertebrae in my neck fused and both shoulders replaced, so the JKU is for sale. I am a Civil Engineer, and have had/built/modified Jeeps off and on since 1976, as well as Land Cruisers, and Land Rovers- many of which can be seen in the sold section at theroverbarn, and I have been wheeling and exploring offroad for 40+ years. I truly believe this to be the pinnacle vehicle I have built. It is very comfortable as a daily driver- way better than stock, capable enough to explore any trail, and has the solidity/reliability to return home unscathed. Creature comforts abound, and while only 7k miles, the oil has been changed twice, and all upgrades monitored every 1k miles without a hiccup!!
So, here are the details, and I am sure I have forgotten to list them all:
-AEV 3.5" JK Dualsport SC suspension, which includes ProCal tuner, Bilstein shocks, new progressive rate springs, etc- see AEV's website for details.
-AEV high steer kit
-AEV spare tire carrier
-AEV snorkle with pre-filter
-5.13 gears w/ Detroit Locker rear and Detroit Tru Trac front lockers
-HD axles F&R
-HD sleeved front axle tube and gussetted 'C's
-SOLID HD F&R diff guards
-Warn winch mount (8274 winch shown in pictures is not included)
-Custom factory bumper shorty kit for improved approach but with no weight penalty
-Factory skid plates
-Skid Row evap canister skid plate added
-MBRP sliders with custom top to emulate factory side step. Also has four easily removable (for off road excursions) pendulum steps for easy entry.
-37" Goodyear GS-A's on factory Mineral Gray painted alloys (the BFG A/T's on tan steelies are not included)
-Terraflex hood struts
-IPF headlight kit
-Tuffy Security Deck Enclosure
-Bestop hidden lockable storage drawer under driver seat
-custom dog guard/safety screen
-Flowmaster 500 Series muffler relocated w/ factory heat shield (allows added/deeper rear storage or secondary fuel tank, neither of which are provided as this was the next and last item to do).
-Aluminum Brownchurch roof rack.
-numerous additional lights are mounted, but not yet wired- I have been trying different sizes and locations, but the ones shown in the pictures are included 'as is' if the buyer desires.
-several handles added for entry assist
-rear storage added to tailgate
I am sure there is more, and you don't even want to know the labor required to transform this Jeep to it's current level. The JK is in excellent condition, but there may be a stone nick or scratch here or there.
Thanks for looking- she is an awesome vehicle!!
Also, items not listed above are not included, like recovery gear, CO2 tank, etc. Truck also has service passport for free oil changes at any Jeep dealer for the first 50k miles I believe it is, and warranty started one year ago this month.
Expo price: $39k, pics to follow...

Love this! Good luck with the sale. Where did you get the barrier from? Have looked and looked for one like that.

Great set-up! Pics with the wheels/tires it comes with? Are the steelies in all the pics available at all or have they been sold already?

Thanks for the kind words.
The barrier is one I found in my shop, someone had left it when they bought a correct LR original for their truck. I think, but not sure at all, it was for an Xterra??
I do not have a pic with the GS/As/alloys, sorry. They are basically new, both tires and wheels. The BFGs and steelies are available, but not cheap- mainly the tires are crazy $$, and I was trying to keep the price down. Same with the 8274- most folks don't want or need it, especially with custom rope. Both are worth their respective prices to me, but opinions vary of course.

I have a few questions if you have time

1) does your JK have a Dana 30 F and 44 R. ?
2) what is your price as is in the picture?
3) is the JK still CA smog legal?

Send me a pm or e mail Dan@lymandoor.com

resqd1, sorry as I already have an S-10 4x4 for shop truck duties, but thanks!!

doormandan:
1)it does have the 30 front, but with being sleeved and gussetted is considerably stronger than the stock D44 in the Rubi, not to mention HD innards...
2)add for the steelies, 37" BFG A/Ts(<2k miles and $2500 new), 8274 w/ custom rope, hook, thimble, and guard is $4k. The Powertank, recovery gear, axe, tire plug kit, etc can be negotiated if needed
3)I see no reason it would not be- just smogged here last week for annual renewal and passed w/o issue. I have the stock muffler(near all take off parts as well) should you want it/them.

Great Jeep. I will add it to the picture wall of coolest vehicles next to the dodge truck you built and sold. If you have not already listed this on the AEV site you should as the price is comparable to othe vehicles on that site for sale. Someone will snatch it up from that site.
