I have one that I bought at Brookstone about 20 years ago, that still works great. Unfortunately, pretty sure they don't sell it anymore. It is a PAR36 tractor light w/ magnetic base and cigarette plug. I did a quick google, and people still make these... try searching for PAR36 tractor light magnetic base, one I found was peterson 55w, about $35.
LED's are nice, but if you're looking for a work light, maybe the most important thing is that it's convenient and easy to use, and has a wide beam. Tractor lights are close-medium range work lights, and a heavy magnetic base means you can set it on the ground also, to let you see to work on the car, change a tire, etc. Handy to have....having a long cord is good, too. In theory, LED's are more reliable. In reality, poor construction and overdriven components means not all of them are. Sealed beam utility lights are pretty rugged.
