Old thread I know. If you are able, I strongly recommend the ARB plug kit for about $45. It uses 10 ga wire, which is important on long wire runs & high ambient temperatures. We almost lost our 2017 4RUNNER as a result. Got so hot it melted plastic with factory 12v plug. I caught it just in time. It took a month of driving with windows down to get the electric fire smell out.
