This outbord is absolutely the cleanest I have ever seen that wasn't new, this is a 1977 15 hp evinrude, includes owners manual! recent impeller, plug, tune up and lower lube done by Tempe Marine, can't find paperwork on work performed though. It will eventually need a pull cord as the one on it is slow to recoil but does recoil once started and it will start on the first pull. I have been told that this motor was actualy rarely used, never used in salt water and always cleaned and garage kept. I don't have a water barrel or a fuel tank to test it but I have known the previous owner for years and he takes very good care of his stuff.

Asking price is $800

I am open for all sorts of trades too, mostly interested in guns or a nice camera

PM me any offers

motor is located in Arizona, I would be willing to ship if your willing to pay the fee's, I would guess around $75-$100 but just a guess.

They made a short shaft and a long one. Do you know what it is and are you considering stupid offers?

They actually made a 15 inch, a 20 inch, and a 25 inch "sailboat" model. It is NOT a sailboat model, for sure.

This looks like a 20 inch from the pic. The model number on the data plate on the port side mount bracket will tell for sure.

FWIW, this vintage engine is very tolerant of use and abuse, only gross overheating can really kill them (and corrosion, of course.)

The asking price certainly isn't crazy high for a well-maintained engine.

*edit*, I didn't see the post above when I posted. Looks like the 20 inch for sure!
