Do you need to machine the back of the spacers to clear the hub face?
Or do they sit flush on the mounting surface?

They sat flush. However, I had to clear the entire hub to allow the hubsentrick wheel to seat properly. So the spacer is 2.5" thick, which worked out perfectly. I designed the axel short to allow the spacers to compensate for the width and so the tires on the trailer match the width of the tires on my JK. My M101 should track my JK perfectly. I hope......

Many in Pa just don't get the whole EXPO thing.
I quit going into REI because they had no clew of the products I was looking for.
The manager at the South Side works store did not know what a Roof Top Tent was! I had to show him on the internet.

The frame is moving along and nearly ready for re-prime and paint. Unfortunately we found three stress cracks in the "A" frame of the tongue. So we have to grind out the cracks and weld for the repair. A slight setback. But, getting the chassis reassembled and finished is going to feel good.
As far as obtaining any expo equipment, I found that shopping on line is the best for reviews and pricing. I got two new Ocean Kayaks (which are going onto the rack system I'm designing for the trailer) for considerably less that what REI lists. I haven't begun researching rooftop tents yet. So let me know what you find out.

Great to get caught up on this post this morning. I dont have nearly as much time to read the forums anymore. Mark and Fandl, great to have two very knowledgeable resources so close. Especially since I have very limited mechanical know how and resources. If it stays warm over X-mas week (which I dont think it will) I may try to tackle 24V to 12V and switch the 9 to 7 pin plug.

If she wasnt working, they would walk out. Reason being, she knew products and when she recommended something it was based on experience. She couldnt take management and quite.

I would love to know how much it cost for the just the bed. I would like to get a roll-on bed liner but dont really have resources to prep the bed. Live in city, baby sitter in BP, so I am around there ALL the time.

I will not shop at rei for anything. They support the people that try to close public land from the public and motor vehicle use. Liberal logic, screw over the pepole that you intend sell product to, great idea.

MY VERSION OF THE ROOFTOP TENT

I found the tent I intend on using. It's a 10'Lx10'Wx7'H cabin style tent made by Eureka called "Copper Canyon." I fabricating a platform similar to your rig. However, my platform with be 10.5'Lx6.5'W and the widtin will have an additional portion that will fold open to extend the width to 10.5'W. The corners of the tent will be clipped to the platform.
This is the tent and I found it at ********'s for $250.00 and Amazon for $220.00....
