Flowmaster has been on for 5 or 6 months.

Honestly, you cannot hear the exhaust over the road noise. Between the mud terrains, the 35 year old weather stripping, the lack of window seals, the suspension creaks and bumps, and my awesome single speaker stereo the exhaust just disappears.

I had a magnaflow on there that was supposedly straight through like the FM was, but it sounded 100% stock.

It just sounds like a boat at idle, and you can hear how it sounds when it's revved up and held at like 2000RPM, but i cannot really comment because It's never driven away from me, or driven past me, oyu know?

i was replacing the exhaust flange gaskets the other year and fired it up on open headers. HA! This video doesnt do it justice but it was horrifyingly loud. Sounded like sitting at a NASCAR race.

the nova is the best sounding item we have currently though....true duals on a pretty built 307, i'm pretty sure its just got resonators on it (I didnt do the exhaust)

Jeep doesn't idle as pretty as that Nova but it sounds about the same revved up haha... I guess its really in the mornings when I am leaving for work, about now 6am ish. That it sounds a lot louder than it is, cause I am trying not to wake the world up... I have let the wife drive it and when she is coming home I don't even hear her pull in the driveway. If the Magnaflow sounds stock but still flows, that is what I might be interested in... Oh you mentioned window seals... I replaced the door seals with the Universal Kit from BJs Offroad, and the Front Window Wipe Kits, didn't solve the window rattle and now my Driverside Front Window WILL NOT roll up all the way, it stays open about 1/8 of an inch just enough to let the wind noise in... Annoying as hell

Nice Jeep. I noticed on the first or second page the edelbrock foam air cleaner. Do you think that led to the engine failure? Those foam cleaners barely work on the street let alone the sand I saw you driving in. Anways nice jeep.

I'm going to need to notch the bumper though to keep it from putting pressure on the tire and damaging it.

Aren't they cute... just like a real tire, only smaller! heehee! Kidding! Just make sure you don't drop the spare to low or it will be the first thing to contact the ground in a tail drag situation. Dragging that brand new spare over concrete doesn't sound very good for it. :)

Yeah son, 24.5' tires! woooo! Talk about some meats!

Haha.

I'm not moving the spare, I'm just going to put a notch in the bumper so it doesn't press against the tire. I'll be painting the rims tonight.

At least they are actual trailer tires! Amazing how many folks just slap on some el cheapO car tires and call it good. Worse when its on a car hauler but still... :) How about a wee skid plate for the tire?

Well, the tires from before were trailer tires too, but these are 6 ply bias, so they should be durable, and have a decent load rating.

This camper wont eve be dragged anywhere that the spare would be in trouble.

wound up; helping Vegas Jeep Guy install a deep cycle battery in a battery box and a small inverter inside his tongue box on his M101 trailer, so I didn't really get anything done on the wheels. I painted 1 side of 1 rim. woo.

Approx 7.5-8" worth of ground clearance to the axle.
