1975 F250 Highboy Crewcab 4x4 Project

Not as bad as I was expecting. You going to replace the entire lower surround? Or just pan it and rust convert what's there?

Cutting out all the rust to seal up the cab and my buddy is fabbing the three individual patches that comprise that roofline / drip rail from scratch and burning them in.

Dropped by the body guy during a break in the rain - still chipping away!

Decided to shave the factory antenna mount and clean up a few other little patches at the same time.

Got the 1967 half cab fired up today for the first time in a hot minute.

Inner structure, outer structure, and drip rail all burned in on the driver's front and rear.

Middle driver's side roofline should be welded in by next weekend!

Making the most of these awesome sunny days whilst the crewcab is away - put the 40 to use and got the 1979 Bronco fired up only to shut it immediately down lol. Ready to tear into it but trying to pace myself.

Passenger side looking WAY better. Only one outer piece needed - inner structure all intact, thankfully!

Got a few more hiding in the woodwork I'll have to pull out come springtime!

Passenger side welded up! Should be fully leakproof now. Bodywork and epoxy primer on the patches next, filling in a few holes drilled into the dash too.

Dug through the bowels of eBay for some suitably patina'd FoMoCo west coast towing mirrors that should match the highboy crew perfectly.
