Body style looks more like a 77 than an 87.

I agree. That little bit of visible headlight trim looks like the generation bofore my old '80 model, not the generation after. And dollars to donuts, it won't have the 'good' 1-ton full-floating rear axle... probably either a SRW, or some kind of jury-rigged dually. But it'd sure make an interesting project to mate it with a 4x4 chassis & good axle.... for someone a lot younger & more ambitious then me!
