One reason why the vehicle may still have MN plates is that it
failed to pass the CA smog test. If you're interested in purchasing
this vehicle, which does look nice in the photos, be sure to have
them pass a CA smog test before you take delivery. The smog
test is not expensive. Tell the owner that you'll split the cost.
I think by law it has to be provided by the seller. I know it doees not always work that way in reality, but it's supposed to.
