1989 volkswagen syncro adventurewagon. Van was purchased from original owner in 2013. Who purchased it new in Fort Brag CA back in 1989. And later in 2018 I purchased it from the previous owner. So it has had 3 owners total. The following upgrades have been done. Full electronic TDI conversion done, full Burley motorsports suspension with Burley's upper and lower control arms. And also his 16" custom trailing arms in the rear. It has his porche 930 Cvs front and rear. Suspension has been installed less than a thousand miles ago. All new bushings and ball joints from burley. All new brakes, stainless steel brake lines, and Go Westy big front brake kit. Radflow suspension all around. 2 south African grills 1 installed and 1 for spare with spare lights. Euro van steering wheel. Propex heater installed under seat. Campervan culture side window vents. All interior panels have been replaced with go westy black interior panels. 6 kumo 16" tires mounted on 6 clk aluminum rims. These have never been mounted. The van current sits on Gowesty 16" alloy wheels. With bfg all-terrain tires. Vanagon life rear overland window locker. And vanagonlife center console. In 2014 Matt Garner metal works in Idaho completed the following. Custom aluminum front and rear bumpers, electronic TDI conversion done, using the engine from a 2002 TDI sedan with 115k miles on it. This is by far the highest quality, TDI conversion I have ever seen. The features are to numerous to list here. The build sheet for this conversion, which itemized every part involved , is 7 pages long. A few highlights. Completely rebuilt transaxle by German Transaxle of bend oregon. A new heavy duty clutch and pressure plate, upgraded turbo with custom intercooler, gages for turbo boost, exhaust gas temp, oil temp, oil pressure, and water temp. I also have a scan gauge 2 installed into the OBD 2 port. Modern Ac system with controller/evaporator unit from vintage air. I have all service records and recipes. I also have a computer with build sheet and pictures on it... I typically get 35 mpg on the roads unloaded and 30 when fully loaded. Runs excellent on regular diesel or biodiesel. The van has awesome torque and power with the TDI. It is a pleasure to drive. Everything has been done on this build to make the van run as light, cool, and rock solid as possible. The van has 180503 miles on the body. It still has its original paint! This van is as rust free as it gets. It has lived in California, Oregon for 1 year and Nevada. The engine now has 140k on the engine. Call or text Jake 8186365758 asking 60k obo. Also open to trades.
