The Wrangler axles need to have their pinion flanges swapped from a CV style to a traditional 1310 so I can have driveshafts made. I'll be ordering from Tom Woods again for these.
Working on my AC install now, made my hoses myself and next up I'll do the hardlines. I'm reusing the stock AC wiring except the clutch engage wire, I pulled that back into the cab and over to the 2UZ PCM because it wants to see that signal to know when to idle up amd engage the compressor.
Finished up the AC lines, had to make one custom adapter to run the original evaporator core. Need to pull a vacuum on it now and check for leaks.
New driveshaft arrived, got that guy installed.
Made a shifter cover to keep junk from getting into the cable shifter mechanism. This one is like my rough draft, I used a broken Gen 2 center console and my least good Gen 1 shifter cover and combined the two with sheet metal formed to rivet the two parts together. I covered it in synthetic black suede. Originally I had planned on blue vinyl but none of the swatches I got matched the interior color enough. I had the black on hand for the insides of my glovebox and center console so, I gave it a go. Not great but not my best work either, later I'll make a better one with the better console now that I'm more familiar with the plastics, resins and upholstery.
Not shown, new wiper motor, Hyundai wiper arms and my brakes saga... TBC
