Differential housing notched for u bolt. Originally the ubolts would have pointed down.

H3 brakes.

Got weight on the front end today. This is the (lack of) clearance between the front control arm crossmember and leaf springs. Notching needed there obviously.

Wider view. We actually had it on the wheels briefly but I forgot to take pics.

I sweet talked my wife into letting me go look at the truck despite it being moving day and our fifth anniversary. It was as described, needing attention but structurally sound.

Here's the picture from the ad.

Just checking tire clearance. ORD moves the axle center line forward an inch with the bracket kit. Really evident where I was previously having clearance issues at the rear of the wheel opening.

Both shock mounts done.

Crossmember notched.

Can you tell a little about the H 3 caliper brackets and where they come from?

Brake hoses on. Brakes bled.

Got the new ORD tie rod on. Need to make more clearance between it and the springs. Probably a 1/2" plate.

Got the tom woods driveshaft installed.

Loaded up today and towed to my buddy's shop to modify and tig the y pipe.

Was running into interference between the tie rod and leaf springs. Decided to add a 1/2" spacer to the bottom of the leaf pack. It's bolted in with the center bolt.

Transfer case was way overfull when we pulled the front output yoke off so we pulled it out and replaced the gaskets and seals. Also did a transmission filter, gasket and fluid service.

Back outside again. Front sits higher than I had planned. Was hoping it would be level with just adding a zero rate in the rear. Once the 9.5 is ready I'll get that in with the zero rate and see how it sits.
