It has been built for durability and extended overlanding with trips to Canada, Mexico, and throughout the western United States taken confidently. It’s been my daily driver for nearly ten years and anything that has needed to be addressed (or upgraded for that matter) has been. The majority of the work has been completed at Slee OffRoad in Golden. I have records for all aftermarket additions and maintenance through my ownership and many through the prior ownership dating back as far as 2009. The vehicle has never been in an accident, is rust free, and has been correctly maintained regularly.
The engine was rebuilt around 197K miles by PowderPig/Robbie Antonson following a head failure. A TRD/Magnussen supercharger, landtank supercharger orange fan clutch, ARB twin compressor, front and rear differential air lockers, and nitro 4.88 gears were added at that time. The undercarriage was stripped and raptor lined in 2016, a 4x4 labs rear bumper and a Costa Fabrication front bumper were both added in 2018, an OffGrid 4x4 dual battery system and electronics were added in 2019, the axles were fully rebuilt, sandblasted and painted with chassis paint in 2020 by Slee Offroad, it was repainted Toyota 6V7 in 2020, a Slee suspension system and Baja Designs lighting added in 2020, and a redhead sector 105 steering box added in 2023, among many other items.
