The front should go in fine with some minimal work. At least it does with the 05+ stuff, the frame fronts should be the same between the pickups and the cab/chassis

I don’t think the back will work because the wider van chassis pushes the leaves into the brakes.

But I would love for you to prove me wrong, I want to do f450 axles as well.

I went 05+ axles, the turning radius really helps on the longer born free. Chris has some really nice stuff and he’s in our back yard but I like the 05+ stuff. I think I lost my taste for leaf sprung fords with the Excursion.

You should come for a ride in one of our rigs, I'll fix the Excursion bad taste!

So my friend pulled a super rare Bison tag just outside Yellowstone park. I went down to help. It was successful and I ate heart for the first time. Very cool experience. Got back late Wednesday night and got a couple hrs in on the van today. Front springs are hung, pitman arm swapped, track bar mount on the frame in and after a couple hrs I got the passenger side rear spring in. I’m gonna call a friend for the other rear. That was a chore by myself

Ran into a little issue with the Draglink interfering with the leaf spring, not allowing the steering to go all the way to the drivers side. I sent Chris at Ujoint an email and had a reply first thing the next morning. Apparently there was an issue with the spring builder adding an additional small leaf. Chris has a solution of a 1" block for the steering that is on the way to me!
I'm waiting on a couple little bearings to finish bolting the front end together, so I switched horses and sprayed Woolwax all over the frame and underside. Seems like a cool product that should keep the rust at bay. I doesn't dry, stays wet, and i see a lot of dirty clothes in my future as I bump into it reinstalling the trans, t-case, etc.

So decided to be cheap and reuse my old wheel hub/unit bearings. Got everything bolted together, the Ujoint steering arm block in, front shocks on, sway bar drilled and installed, steering hooked up, hubs on etc. I went to bolt the wheels on to set her on the ground and found out one wheel hub is fine thread and the other course. New ones ordered and I get to tear it all apart again. Damn I wanted to see her on all 4! I have a little issue with break lines which Chris has a fix for.
