does anybody know how reliable the 8.3 cummins engine is? I am interested in buying the truck but know nothing about the engine/transmission combo.

I am thinking about a camper conversion and adding a cab pass-through.

From what I have read its pretty reliable. Best thing to do is send away the oil for analysis.

Oh it already has a cab pass through!
