1ST Annual ExPo/Anza~Borrego Spring Flower Fling....

These two shots were taken up Sheeps Canyon. We actually managed to bolder up to the second set of Washingtonian Palms which was actually no easy task. Robert ended up spying this toad just in the nick of time before he became really camoflaged into the rock. Anyone know what kind of toad it is?

We headed out Thursday night and drove into the wee hours to set up camp...

Awoke among Octillo and Agave...

Venturing North by heading South we managed to avoid the crowds...

Getting out by Saturday morning was key...

Sorry to have missed you folks. Robert Yates and myself did a last minute, "Get out of Dodge" manuever and headed out Saturday for an overnighter. Braved the traffic jam up Coyote Canyon and ended up camping up above Middle Willows in a spot to ourselves.

That Yates guy sure has a nicely organized kitchen in his Horizon :jump:
