The Flat-Bed floorplan just makes so much sense to me. Am I correct in assuming one could fit a porta-potti (or better yet a fixed cassette toilet) into the cabinet space to the right of the door as you enter?

Sleeping for 2+1 and a porta potti ticks the right boxes for my family. If this had been available a couple of years ago, I wouldn't have my van right now.

A nice compact package on a short bed and side entry too. I like the layout and the dinette set up. A few questions. Do those two rear jacks really reach the ground? How is the box attached to the flat bed? If it is indeed bolted thru the floor, is the tray on a pivot system? What capacity are the tanks? Does it have the winter insulation package?
This one has gotten my attention.

Looks great but I SERIOUSLY wish you guys would post up a flat bed version of the Grandby! I want to see how the floor plan lays out and what the overall interior size "feels" like.

Mike, IIRC the "plan" is the same, but I imagine the stretched dimensions would make everything feel even more open (although that Hawk already looks spacious).

We will have the Hawk UTE self contained model at the Sugarloaf State Park rally this week end. If you ride mountain bikes this will be an opportunity to go ride Annadel State Park! Great Stuff!!

This seems to be such a good idea, but the final product looks half baked and not as efficient as it could be.

I wish FWC would come up with a model that skipped the flatbed for a more semi-permanent mount. I think it would make better use of the available space, could be more secure and would eliminate the odd looking gap between the cab and overhang...
