Headed north out of Watson lake and headed for the robert campbell highway

First night in the Yukon... we stopped by a lake that I can't recollect the name of. I do remember that the rain pounded us for a few hours through the night though

Start of day 5... it was mostly dry but started getting really chilly

There are easier spots to park up north but I guess it worked for him

Welcome to Dawson city.. this was our first time through.

Re-fueled and headed back towards the dempster

Rolling into eagle plains... expensive gas and outrageous food pricing $17 for chicken fingers... you'd like fries with that, tack on another $5
And for those prices you'd figure there would be so much food you could go the rest of the week without eating...NOT

At least this guy was interesting

And here we stand.. a day or so later it will be a completely different picture

The village of Midway... midway to what I have no idea

ah... the duffel bags of clothing. Those bags were designed to go inside the cab beside the fridge... until the kid decided to take the small dog with us... At least the truck was staying clean

First of three ferry crossings we would make up north... and all three were free!

This little guy appeared on the side of the road about 10min out of town

Um..ok. The only official ferry signage... other than the stop sign

Huge lineup... glad we got there early

Northmart... where they sell ATV's, $10 a box cereal and $20 a bag almonds. I have no idea how the locals afford to live up here
