2000 Toyota Land Cruiser. 196,000 miles. Asking Price: $9,000.00
I purchased this 100 Series in January 2019 with 179K miles and it has served me well. It’s a third vehicle used mainly for hunting, skiing, and kayak/mountain bike transport. During my ownership I have kept it properly maintained and in great running condition. I have completed the following repairs and upgrades:
Aisin belt kit with water pump along with serpentine belt and all related pulleys. This was done at 185K miles.
Driver side exhaust manifold just replaced for PA Inspection (6/23). All new studs and nuts.
New fuel tank, straps and sending unit
New Denso alternator
Spark plugs
Valve cover gaskets
Front differential mount bushings
Front rotors and pads
CV axles (Cardone HD)
OEM Toyota shocks (4)
555 lower ball joints
Recent fluid changes in both differentials and transfer case (Mobil 1)
Fresh oil change (Mobil 1)
3 drain & fills of transmission fluid since owning it (Valvoline Synthetic)
Airlift rear airbags with Schrader valve access in each rear wheel well
OPOR rock sliders
ROLA roof basket installed on 3 Yakima crossbars mounted to the factory side rails.
Maxi Trac awning
The previous owner installed 2.5” OME lift with dif drop. I replaced the rear OME2860 springs with OME2865 springs to lower the stance. The OME2860 coil springs are included in the sale as well as a set of SPC adjustable upper control arms. Both UCA have new ball joints.
I would consider the vehicle to be in overall good condition. It has some chips & scuffs on the outside typical of driving in the woods. I never “wheeled” or took it on any major offroad trips. Mainly logging roads for hunting or river access. The rocker panels are coated in truck bed liner for protection and to better match the sliders and graphics. The mountain/compass graphic is vinyl and can be removed. This has spent it’s live in PA so there is surface rust underneath as shown. No structural issues. When working underneath (fuel tank, shocks, springs etc.) I never had issues with seized or broken bolts. The interior shows wear. No rips or tears but some cracking in the front seats. Dash is clean. The radio is a pioneer with sirius/xm and apple car play.
The wheels are from a 2018 and tires are 275/70-18 Duratracs in the fall of 2020. BORA 1.25” spacers on the front to clear the center cap. Matching size spare (BFG Rugged Terrain new) on a steelie mounted underneath. Also included are the original 16” aluminum wheels which have been plastidip black.
Contact me with any questions or for additional information/pictures, and of course to set up a time to check it out in person.
