Low-mileage, well maintained Ford F-250 7.3 diesel truck, custom Alum-Line flatbed. Purpose-built flatbed designed to carry 2006 extended cabover 8-foot Alaskan camper. Selling the package together for $XX,XXX, will not separate.

REPEAT: Will not separate.

F-250 has under 150,000 miles, and is in very good condition. Gets 14mpg with camper on at 62 mph, less at higher speeds. I also have the original truck bed (with a matching grey stripe) and a quality Snug Top shell that go with the package. Automatic transmission, auto-locking hubs, extended cab four door. Patch of paint peeling off the hood, otherwise body in very nice condition. Two small windshield chips that have not grown in the 5 years I have had the truck. Occasionally throws a CHECK ENGINE light — don’t all the 7.3 diesels do that??? Comes with a programmer/code-reader to clear. BFG KO's Load range E tires on alum wheels. New stereo with wired b/u camera.

Flatbed was custom designed and built by Alum-Line to fit this Alaskan Camper and this long bed Ford. It was built to be swapped over to a later model Ford F250 or F350 as well. It is hard mounted to the Ford frame, it does NOT have that expeditiony three-point mounting system. It has a bitchen “back porch” with custom bracket for entry steps. Loads of storage in the side boxes.

Alaskan Camper is an extended cabover model, eight feet long, in good- to very good condition. It is “permanently” mounted to the truck. It was inspected/repaired at the Alaskan factory in 2022, where they replaced the pirelli strip, some rot in the cabover area, the fans, and some other stuff. It works great.

Alaskan Campers are “old school” by today’s vanlife camper standards. This one was ordered without a water heater; it has pressurized water in the sink and in the outside shower, but it is cold water only. This one was ordered without a toilet; we carry a porta-potty which is marginally more satisfactory than the bucket-and-chuck-it method. We have upgraded the mattress with an Ex-Ped air mattress. The original mattress is avail, if you want it. All interior lights have been replaced with LEDs. Furnace works great — warms the place up in seconds. Fridge works OK. Super basic electric system is fine for lights/water pump/fans — you might want to put in solar and/or inverter.

Truck is located in San Luis Obispo county, California. Please PM me here, or track me down on our local craigslist.

Thanks for reading.

The fact that Jack Mac made a for sale add on this today on the front page of EP is kind of comical as it sold almost a month ago… Congrats on selling the rig!
