2002 100 series strange pulsing vibration in the front end when stopped

my new to me 100 series cruiser has a strange pulsing vibration when stopped and foot is on the brake. It seems to be coming from the driver side front. Could it be the ABS pulsating? Cruiser has 94K on it and had new brakes put on it at the dealer back in October 2014. Any ideas?

Where do you feel the pulsating sensation? Brake pedal, steering wheel, seat, floor board, etc.?

What is the outside air temp when it happens?

Is the 100 in drive or park?

Need to replace front rotors, they probably did not resurface nor replace! I recommend going with slotted and drilled rotors, they will last longer and better braking! Good luck!

There's a snowballs chance in hell a DEALER didn't turn or replace rotors with brake service.

Need more information. The above questions are a great start

Spent a bit more time in it today. So it pulses only after you come to a complete stop and then it starts after being completely stopped for a few seconds. You can feel it only through the brake pedal but you can hear it as well. Kind of a low buzz sort of sound. Outside temperature is around the 60s. We live in St. George Ut, only does it while it is in drive, not in neutral or park. Thanks

Sounds like there may be an issue with the vacuum brake booster.

Shut it off after idling for a bit and listen for a leak. Or pull a vacuum on it and see if it will hold

So when you are rolling on neutral and apply the brake pedal you do not get the vibration on your brake pedal?:Wow1:

If this is correct you have a leak as stated before!:sombrero:

The 100 series has a motorized brake booster. The pedal does pulsate from time to time. If it is pulsating upon every stop (or even every 5th stop) that would be unusual to me.

Brake booster. Only worry when it doesn't stop. That means relay is dead and will burn out pump in 24 hours, and thats big $

turns out the there was a loose hose that clamps onto the plastic engine cover that was unclipped. Every time i stopped it would vibrate against that plastic engine cover. After i clamped it back into place no more vibrations. Strange but glad that is all it was. Thanks for everyones help.
