Ready to go anywhere, turn the key and go…. We are selling it because we don't have the time to use it with a new baby.

I am the third owner. I Purchased from the second owner, who had purchased from the widow of the original owner. He had ordered from the Ford factory, and they shipped it to Quigley for 4 x 4 conversion and high top installation with sliding windows and screens.

37k miles when I purchased it, ~55k now.
Overall, the van is in very good condition… The engine is strong, the 4 x 4 system works flawlessly, new (2022) serpentine belt, spark plugs, fuel pump, and ECU unit all work done by a local Ford dealer. Paint is Shiny and bright… if you look hard, you can find a few very small paint chips. There are a couple of light scratches, maybe 1 to 3 inches long, on the back doors behind the swing-out tire and storage box. There is some surface rust on the undercarriage, but nothing major.

Original owner had it set up with shelving, drawers, and a workbench for demonstrating his fly tying...(he invented a mechanism that made flies look like they were actively swimming as you retrieved it) . His company was called Brinefly, and the van is named after.

The second owner tore the interior out and built it how he would use it...
  • Insulated the floor, plywood over that, then vinyl plank flooring.
  • Built L-shaped couch/beds with six drawers under. The driver side of L is 28 1/2 inches by 81 inches. Rear section is 32x67 inches ( I am 6' 1" foot 190 pounds, plenty of room for me on the more extended section… My partner is 5 foot 3 and she sleeps in the shorter section).
  • Custom-made cushions/mattresses for the L-shaped couch/beds and insulated snap-on/Velcroed coverings for windows.(super useful) All fabric is Sunbrella outdoor marine grade.
Bulkhead approximately 18 inches from rear doors, with window opening and removable screen, you can see out the back while driving. Also, open back doors for a nice breeze With no bugs when parked. The 18 inches behind the bulkhead provide lots of storage. (The “garage”). You can access the under-couch/bed storage through a large hinged door. Built "kitchen" counter area on the passenger side with a small stainless sink with UBS rechargeable battery-powered faucet. I use a camp stove placed here for interior cooking. I prefer this as you can put it away and use the counter for other activities. Two cabinet doors below house the 12v water system, with four storage drawers to the right. Interior is basic and made from plywood, and finished in white paint.

Which engine?

Also, undercarriage pics would go a long way being based in VT and mentioning some surface rust down there.

The vertical wall with rear gear garage is actually how I was planning on laying things out in my own van, but a turn key ready to go one is tempting.

Yes, not sure how I over looked engine details.. it is the v10.

Van is now in Vermont but has not seen much of the winter roads. Will try to grab some photos/video tomorrow. Body panels are rust free.
