Not yet. I am shopping for a new travel trailer. I also have 2 construction trailers that I will be moving around a bit. When I had my last 5.4 I was getting ok milage towing a 26ft camper. keep your foot out of it as much as possible. just dodge along at the speed limit and you will be fine.

I know that I love this style body F150 more than any other. Sucks that its not going to last forever. Good ole newfoundland winters with the salt they cake on the roads here, will eventually spell it's demise but we are going to drive the wheels off it until then!

Well, I was plowing snow yesterday and had my F150 and JK unlimited parked one behind the other. I noticed that my F150 on 285s has about the same ground clearace under it as my JKU as it sits now with the 265s on it. I looked at it for awhile and figured I do not need to mess around putting a lift of any sort on it. That's enough clearance. I will be adding the Monroe monotube shocks, and airbags in the rear for towing our trailers. But for extra height, not needed. Its actually pretty high now. Higher than any new 1/2 and most 3/4 tons from the factory. I will be pulling off the steps and mudflaps. they are done and I think they are detracting from the look of the truck overall. Lighting, and the minor suspension upgrades are the first things to be done. And a good cleaning and waxing to bring back the paint. There are a few leaks in the cap I need to address, plus new locks on it as well. I do have a small interior water leak. I am not sure if its the sunroof, or somewhere else. I am going to look at that this spring too. I want new wheels. The heritage style wheel would be ideal. But I cannot find any.

Your cab leak: the drains by the sunroof get clogged. I too have to tackle that issue.

I would leave the mud flaps on to protect the body and any trailers, just remember to spray out any gaps where salt or mud may collect.

Also on the leak: the windshield is a common leak point. I didn't really address it on my log, but I siliconed the crap out of the black rubber seal that goes around the windshield. I also have a sunroof and I really wish I didn't. I don't use it that much and it's more of an annoyance than anything- I've reattached the rear drip guard twice and there's a rattle up there now. Plus that roof rack that I have isn't the quietest thing- having a solid sheet metal roof would solve a lot of those problems.

The mudflaps on mine are broken, and most of them are just little pieces. I think its the sunroof for sure. all it is, is a little bit of dripping around the passenger rear seat and rear window glass. I don't think I will hear the roof rack on my cap. Where its not all connected to the passenger compartment of the truck. I can't wait for warmer weather to get at some stuff.

Soon time to start. going to the scrap yard to get a roof rack for the truck this week, hopfully I can get something half decent for it.

Well, everything in my Expo life was put on hold while we went on vacation. I stopped all spending to take our 9 yo to Florida. Back home now, and getting at some of the projects. My wife and I were sizing up the rear of the truck, and I am going to replace the bed liner in it now with a bedrug set. Add carpet around the interior of the cap as well. Then we are going to get the shelf that attached to the top of the cap and pulls down, and get the deck slide for loading and unloading the rig. Also, the stereo we are putting in will be an apple carplay unit. Makes life easier and just works great. Need to get cracking on the lighting however. I don't want to use it in the night on the highways here yet as I don't have any lighting on it.
