Sadly, the time has come to sell this one-of-a-kind beast, nicknamed Haka. I am the 2nd owner and am only selling because I want to continue focusing on my pilots license and need to reallocate time and resources. I have owned the vehicle for 1.5 years and it has taken my family on some incredible trips throughout the PNW and the Rocky Mountains. I purchased the vehicle from an ExPo member, who picked it up at an auction and spent over a year gutting the box and completing the initial build out. The original build details can be found here: https://forum.expeditionportal.com/...overland-this-truck-is-a-unicorn-100k.228318/ (please note that the $100k price listed was long before build was complete).

This was originally a RedCross Emergency Response Vehicle, so it never transported patients and has minimal idle hours. I have made MANY upgrades since purchasing the vehicle and redesigned some of the interior to better accommodate adults, a 150lb Newfoundland and allow for maximal living space. This is an incredibly rare platform as it has full-width rear doors and ~ 6'2 interior height. It's basically a studio apartment with awesome off-road capability thanks to a U-Joint off-road 4x4 conversion and BFGoodrich KM3 tires.

  • Huge bench with storage underneath. Seating area measures 5 feet 8 inches long x 2 feet deep (69.5 x 24). The storage space is slightly shy of this.
  • I also have a Lagun table with two separate mounts (not installed) that will come with the rig. The plan was to mount one onto the side of the bench
  • German thermometer and barometer
Known issues:
  • Some paint chipping on the front of the box near the passenger door. Plan was to properly prep area and extend diamond plating up to wind fairing or rhino line the right and left side
  • Bluetooth back up camera experiences interference every so often
  • EONON head unit was occasionally freezing on maps screen. Performed software update and haven't had any issues
  • Not an issue per se but when the 4x4 conversion required removal of the emergency brake. According to the guys at Ujoint, adding in a line lock is the best solution if you wanted an e-brake.
I am sure I am missing numerous details so please reach out with questions. Sad to see the rig go but it is time to pass it on to a new owner. Serious inquiries only.
