I love seeing these trucks being pushed. Great photos, looks like a great time.

Haha yea. Been wheeling my 4Runner for so many years. It feels weird to learn an all new rig. That trip above was the 2nd time i actually used it on a trail other than dirt roads. Tundra is still mainly for dirt roads and getting me to new places. Try not to get into any heavy off road stuff but when exploring. You never know what challenges come up.

Makes me excited for my bumper!

Heck yea. It's a sweet bumper. Wish my winch would come in already. Driving around without one makes me feel like a poser lol.

Finally got my retrofitted headlights from rickashay. Did an awesome job.
Color matched to the bumper. Hard to tell unless in person.
I just need to do something about the corner lights but no one makes smoked ones. Just clear ones. So I may give those a try.

The lights look pretty good. I really wanted to get a set, but I have other stuff higher on the priority list.

This might be useful. Here's a crappy photo I took while screwing around with my HID retrofit using clear corners.
I was trying out black, but ended up keeping my lights chrome.

I actually avoided painting the outer chrome ring of the headlight to try and somewhat match the corner lights.

The clear corner looks good on white. My truck color is to dark to do clear but will see. Gonna order a set and go from there. If I don't like it. I, gonna try to open it to smoke it.

No before pictures because PO already fitted for HIDs and they blinded people lol. Than after the Mojave trip. One of the HIDs stopped working.

I'll try to get some night pictures but they are sharp!!

Just playing with if I need to aim them lower or higher lol.

Looks great man! You will need to find a level surface and do some wall measurements to aim the lights vertically. I'll text you a link.

For the corners, check what I did on my old 4Runner.i bought some vinyl tint off eBay and smoked the clear corners. Came out awesome IMO despite my brutal vinyl skills. Just the tint wasn't too aggressive, you could still actually see the turn signals.

Thanks. I'll have to check out the link to aim these bad boys correctly.
Gonna look for your runner build. Not sure how I feel with it smoked on the lens tho.

So I been trying to redo the bed. Took the bedliner out. Lay down some styrofoam 1st than some plywood. Reason for wood was to able to install the e track and removable tie downs if needed. Than I rolled down the 2004 tundra double bedrug I got for $20. The bedsides are taller than the access cab but worked out better than expected. Needed the extra carpet to wrap up and over the 2x4 extended bedrails I had to do for the dodge dakota topper. Couldn't find a used tundra one for a good price in the style I wanted.
Haven't tired out the new set up yet but so far it looks comfy.

Also wired my compressor to my overhead switch. So cool to be able to turn on compressor while driving. Did the same on my runner so it was a no brainer to do it again. Overhead switches are getting filled up. Only two spots left out of 8.

Finally got a battery upgraded. Mainly for the 12v fridge since I'm still not sure how to have my solar set up yet. Had to hammer a tad under the hood right above the neg post. Adjust the tie down for a better fit. Battery is a tad narrower but you can center it between the tie down. Was able to keep the battery tray with no mods. I did unclip one of the pos cable to allow it to move around a bit more. Wanted to give the cables a little slack just incase of movement.

Been trying to utilize the space on my door racks. Finally found a place for my two beach umbrellas. The additional weight was to much so I came up with a new support that snaps in, tethered and stored on the rack.
One on each side
