since I got this truck it had duraCRAP pads and unknown rotors. I ran them for as long as i could take it but i finally had it and got all new OEM rotors and pads (original not cheap ones dealerships been using).
Since I have such good luck with the puma in the runner, I decided to get another one for the tundra
I originally had it mounted at the rear of the bed similar to the runner but on the drive side. After picking up a fridge, I didnt like how much fixed accessories was blocking entry into the bed so I am trying out a new location for now.
I also ran an air hose down the side of the bed and out the bottom of the bed just below the fuel cap/tank area. I plan on having the ability to hook up my longer air hose from the outside without having to get into the bed (just like how I did my runner) soon I will be able to turn compressor on from the driver sit.
Finally got most of my RotoPax stuff in. 3- 3 gallon tanks. still waiting on extension to mount two 3 gallon tanks side x side
Simple mod and has been very useful. CUP HOLDERS lol
recent trip to Panamint Valley has show me that I need bug screens. I made one for the rear door using PVC for the top wedged and zip tied to the top of the topper. Bolted on the sides and used magnets on the topper door to hold it open and to keep the two screens together
insulated the topper with Styrofoam than with reflective sheets
I also wanted to be able to open one of the side doors for air flow so I needed more bug screen. I also wanted the screen to open so I can reach in for stuff. I made the frame with PVC piping and bolted it to the top of the topper frame with conduit clamps so it can flip up. I have flip down tables on both sides of the topper door which also doubles for opening side doors half way
