price change - jeep I was hoping to purchase has another home already
Sadly the jeep I was hoping to purchase has already found a new home. The price for my jeep will revert back to the $42,500. I will honor the price of $35,000 for the gentleman who PM'd me trying to work out shipping as I feel that is only fair (sent you a pm). I've had a good amount of interest and am hoping to see her go to a good home. The LJ is well documented and has a ton of aftermarket work completed. It needs a few minor things:
1. steering wheel needs to be re centered, was waiting till next tire balance
2. kilby rockers could use a sandblasting and new paint job.
3. interior cleaning, its not that bad just hasn't had seats, carpet, console out for a real cleaning in 2+ months
4. new rubber boot on currie drag tie rod end, 1 is torn
5. hard top has 2 small scratches on driver side rear corner maybe 3-4 inches long
6. skid plate needs to clearance a bit around the exhaust, hemi motor under load causes exhaust to shift into it and cause a
slight rattle. I've clearance it before just have to do a little more for it to completely go away.
7. AC lines need to be installed. we moved the condensor/drier to a different location b/c it was located next to the exhaust
manifold for the hemi and was causing it to not function properly. I had new lines made just have not installed them. The
lines were made by a specialty hose company on Long Island that Coca Cola uses for all its fittings/hoses/lines (my
brother works for them as a mechanic).
its all small minor work but I just haven't had time to get around to it since we got back from our expedition. it has some small rock nicks in the paint but overall the car is in great shape. hemi power is awesome, it steers on rails (on ramps/off ramps at 60+ no problem, gets 15-17 mpg on hwy, and went through a frame off restoration in 2010.
thanks for looking
