Recall this safety link

Here's a related story to the safety features in an Earthroamer. My wife has an aversion to propane, having had some family members die in an vehicle that was propane fueled. Diesel is the fuel, no additional fuels needed, no need to empty your propane tank because you want to board a ferry, no need to search seedy neighborhoods and remote locales for propane. One fuel.
Ok, here's the link: http://www.earthroamer.com/xv-lt/safety/

I called up Earthroamer and from the 2013 model year forward (not sure after which serial number) they increased the cab height to 6'8". Previous years were in the 6'5" - 6'6" range as mentioned.

Back on the Market

4th Owner, and isn't broken in yet! We are through with our wilderness episodes for now, so will reoffer. Unique paint, that is black at night, brown in shade and green in high light. We are considering keeping, just for the fun of ownership, but here goes. Up for sale for now.

Fixed stairs

I forgot to mention I have fixed the stairs, replacing the sheered off bolt, and the factory steps are still automated in their retracting.

Nothing decided on the AC, precisely because I have only needed the AC twice this whole year. Coolest summer I have ever seen in this Midwest.

AC is still a consideration. I have disconnected the AC and have the plug going out the back of the ER through the louvers above the tires. From there I run it off a friends or family members house 110 or a generator. I have all the AC covered for the fans, refrig, and charging inside the house, and then can run the AC all the time without draining the batteries too far, or needing to recharge with the diesel alternator. I completely charge the batteries now on just solar. Haven't had to charge them once this whole spring, or summer, even under shade. This was my solution, though, not necessarily what yours will be.

Wifey didn't like the low profile 8.5" Coleman idea sitting in the place of her Fantastic Fan, and since it wasn't symmetrical along the top, no go.

There is a small paint scuff on the rear right of cabin, to the right of the tire, along the edge that I haven't touched up yet, from backing into something. Small oval of paint missing, 2" tall by maybe an 1 1/4" wide.

Earthroamers currently for sale.

For those who may be thinking, there are only two others on the market now, and they are double to treble what we have here. http://earthroamer.com/pre-owned/
If you have to have new, you're out till mid to late next year. Only 140 of these grace our shores, with the occasional meandering and wandering of a couple outside our shores.
