2005 Freightliner M2 Ambulance RV conversion CAT C7.

OK the time has come to thin the herd. We are putting up for sale 2 Freighter ambulances. This one is our “beta” test truck that we have been using to try different interior configurations.

Clean RV/motorhome title.
157,000 miles
CAT C7 250hp turbo diesel engine
Allison 3000 EVS 6 speed automatic transmission.
Cruise control
2 AC systems (Cab and box)

Unique Combination murphy bed-dinette prototype.
Queen size domestic mattress
2 captains chairs that fold under murphy bed for sleeping.
This conversion is very basic. It needs someone who is willing do their own finish on the interior. It can be used as is but it is definitely focused on function and not looking pretty.
The truck runs very well. We have driven it all across the county without any issues. Clear coat on the hood is peeling and it has various scrapes and scratches expected with an ex-emergency vehicle of this age.
Known issues:
Oil leak from the rear diff pinion seal.
Some looseness in the steering, just a bit vague.
Windshield is badly cracked but will be replaced prior to handover.
Drivers wide view mirror needs to be replaced. (waiting on part)
Driver suspension seat has air leak.
Reason for sale - We just have too many projects. We currently have 8 freightliner M2 ambulances, 1 Dodge ambulance, 1 6x6 Freightliner FLC, 2 Toyota troop carriers, 1 toyota landcruiser HJ75 6 wheeler, 1 HZJ75 toyota landcruiser ute and a camper trailer. Something has to go and the single cab is sort of an orphan for us. We will also be listing a M2 4 quad cab ambulance in another post. RV titled but no conversion started, straight as it came from the auction yard.
