It's a limited edition trim package after the "Sahara" movie from that year. Zero performance gains, but under the gimmicks, it's still an LJ Rubicon, arguably the best out of the box Jeep ever built. The "Sahara" edition is of minimal value IMO. Thirty years from now, a clean, stock, low mileage "Sahara" model may have some increased value. I wouldn't give more than $100 for the "upgrades/limited edition" over the cost of a standard LJ Rubicon.
To confuse things, there is also a Jeep Wrangler Sahara trim package, it is NOT a Rubicon under the stickers. I think the trim package order for that generation Wrangler was Base, Sport, Sahara, Rubicon.
