2005 Taco - compass/temp failure.

Well, I guess ours lasted longer than most...it went out at 50K.

Toyota has issued a TSB:

(T-SB-0051-09) dated 22 January 2009 and entitled "Overhead Digital Compass & Temperature Display Inoperative"

The replacement part "83290-04030 Meter Assy, Accessory" covers 2005-2008 Tacos. If you are still under warrenty or have an extended warrenty, it's covered 100%.

If you're out of warrenty, there are several detailed DIY repairs out on the web.
