For those interested and concerned about the house air conditioner.
I own a 2008 ER XV-LT with a functioning house A/C (as well as a rooftop unit installed by the previous owner). The house A/C (ER installed) does work surprisingly well, I suspect in part d/t how well the ER is insulated, as Aaron noted.
It's really not too much of an energy hog, IMO, using about 750W (give or take) when fully engaged.
FYI, the rooftop A/C was added to mine (where the fan was) b/c the previous owner was living in the Mohave for a few months at a time and needed it, in particular for his cat. I don't know of any other ER unit with an added A/C, but the newer models might have better A/C units, too.
