2006 F-550 4X4 Powerstroke Diesel XL 4 door Crew Cab $18,200
All aluminum very high quality heavy duty bed/body with 1500# hydraulic lift gate. 18k miles on new factory Ford Powerstroke diesel, Ford dealer installed at a cost of $11,800 , the truck has a total of 181k miles, though it feels more like a 50k mile truck. Everything is in very good condition with the exception of the seats, which have a tear on the drivers side where you get in and out, and several stains. I was planning to have re upholstered, but never got around to it. It has been a work truck, though well taken care of. I have all receipts/service orders. Automatic transmission. new batteries, new Goodyear tires, heavy duty front bumper with 2" receiver.
It would make an awesome expedition rig. I do custom aluminum fabrication and welding, I am open to building out similar to an Earth Roamer type rig for a very reasonable price.

Thanks,
NOTE: If your opposed to the 6.0, do some Googling. The 2006/2007 6.0 is one of the most reliable, best engines Ford ever made (a stark contrast to the earlier model 6.0s. The 2007 6.0 had the fewest warranty issues of any Ford diesel ever made. It is much more powerful, and efficient than the 7.3, and is much more reliable than the 6.4. The jury is still out on the new 6.7. I was opposed to the 6.0s for years as the rumors of problems were for the most part undeniably true, and I pledged allegiance to my beloved 7.3 F-450. I've spent hundred hours researching 6.0 and 7.3 forums, as well as looking at many trucks, talking to owners, Ford mechanics etc. Ford spent an astronomical amount of money reengineering the faulty parts of the 6.0 mainly (turbo EGR, head bolts, oil coolers, and some injectors), and ended up with a great engine.
