Up for sale is my 2006 Toyota Tacoma. I'm the second owner. I purchased the car at 197k miles from the original owner. We have all the documentation for all work done, almost exclusively at Toyota dealership. The car is healthy, driven 200 miles per week for work and have had to do nothing but change the oil, rotate the tires and replace one spark plug. The car has lived its entire life as a Southern California vehicle and has the shine/no rust you'd expect.
We took the truck out on a few trips to Sequoia National Park, Joshua Tree, Anza Borrego, Thomas Mountain, Alabama Hills and many more. The only reason we're selling is we have moved on to a Land Rover LR3. I would trust this truck to go anywhere (as I already do). The bank does still own the truck but I can happily go over any information needed to take care of that. Below I have a list of "not-so-great" items that I want to give full disclosure to. Kelly Blue Book has this model in excellent condition for $12,299, We're listing it for $11,750 or best offer.
LOWERED PRICE TO $10,750.
Vehicle details:
2006 Toyota Tacoma
TRD Off-Road model
Towing Package (I've towed my girlfriend old 2005 Forester up to Newport beach without issue twice)
4x4
Rear locking differential, power outlet etc
231,xxx miles
Automatic Transmission
Extras included:
- Head unit installed
- Toyota rough floor mats
- New Tacoma SR5 wheels and tires (10k miles on them)
The not-so-great (see pictures for more details) :
- 1 small snag/tear and stain on the drivers seat
- Scuff on front bumper (first time my girlfriend drove the truck, she somehow hit a shopping cart holder at Walmart)
- TPMS sensors aren't on the new wheels
- Head unit doesn't have bluetooth, etc. Not really a flaw but something I missed
Who this car is for:
- Not your girlfriend if she's going to run into a shopping card holder
- Anyone looking for a truck to get you from point A to point B without issue
- Someone looking to get into off-roading with a world class truck to start as a base
- A great first vehicle... safe, reliable, fun to bring along with friends.
