2006 Xterra

Still bare metal, and still needs a final run through with the grinder..

We're going to build some beefier, metal rings to replace the plastic OE ones..

That is really nice. You will love it. I just had Trent (from the WC) make one for me, and after the recent Maze trip I did, I fell in love with it. I believe it was the most organized I have ever been on a trip. Good work.

I believe that they are called 'mountaineer racks'

Awesome! At Kurt's tonight some WC guys came over for a few, and were tellin me about that rack he built. I'm excited. I've already got a lot of gear loaded on it, and between it and the wheel wells is perfect for blankets, tarps, and the X Jack fits like it was born for it.. All with a nice area for cooler and bin to reside..

I dig it.

I just picked up a MaxiTrip™ TP100 Scan Tool.. Slightly less expensive alternative to a ScanGauge. I got it on Amazon.com for $80 shipped.

     ● Works with all 1996 and later OBDII compliant vehicles
     ● Reads & clears trouble codes
     ● Easily determines the cause of the “Check Engine Light ( MIL)”
     ● Turns off Check Engine Light (MIL), and resets monitors
     ● Views freeze frame data
     ● Displays monitor and I/M readiness status(emissions)
     ● Retrieves vehicle information (VIN, CIN and CVN)

How do you like the MaxiTrip....that sure is loads cheaper than the scanguage and I like the looks of it better.

Sliders are done.. They've been a long time coming.. Glad to have the added protection. Erik @ D-Lux Fab, and Utah Powder Coatings did a great job.

To retain ease of re-powder coating if needed, we opted to weld legs with flanges to the frame; then added flanges to the legs on the sliders, thus making them removable via 12 3/8"s bolts per side.

Beginning ~ 4runner Trailgear Sliders (removed from my '99 4runner)
