2007 KTM 990 Adventure / 4898 miles (updated 8/27) / Located in North Eastern Colorado
I originally purchased the 990 new in 2008 to do some two-up riding with my wife. We found that while she had enjoyed some shorter rides with me on my other bike, longer distance rides just weren't her cup of tea. That being said, you can tell by the miles that this bike is not being ridden so it's time to part with it. The bike is stored on a battery tender in a climate controlled garage and is in perfect operating condition. It has had one low-speed low-side on a snowy road, however the crash bars did their job so there is a little bit of paint missing on one and the passenger peg has some rash. Other than that, the bike is also cosmetically excellent.
List of modifications:
FMF Ti cans (installed from new / original cans come with bike)
KTM 2-stage heated grips
Scott Steering damper
Scott triple clamp (stock clamp comes w/bike)
Touratech glovebox lock
KTM crashbars
KTM top and side racks
KTM / Gobi top and side hard cases (side cases modified with extra tie-down rail on top)
KTM touring windshield (standard windshield currently installed)
G2 Throttle Cam (stock and extra cams come w/bike)
Black Dog Skid Plate (stock plate comes w/bike)
That's it. This a low mileage, well-cared for bike that you can buy equipped for half of what you'd pay new. If you fly and buy I can pick you up at the Denver airport and even put you up for a night if needed. I'm also negotiable with delivery in certain directions as I travel to California frequently.
