2008 Mercedes Bluetec Diesel

Was hoping to use the sale of this to finish the build of my expedition FJ43. Guess I will leave it on CL as stated below.

Sorry but how is this an expedition vehicle of any kind? I didnt know we could post our normal cars... if so, ignore this. Craigslist has worked well for cars, for me, by the way.

Dont know what exactly the rules say, but I dont see any reason a guy cant sell a MBZ SUV here. I have seen alot of stuff here that is not even arguably expedition worthy.

Hey could you please post some more info on your vehicle or at least put a link to your craigslist add.
P.S. I dont see any resign not to post this here. You don't need to own a Volvo c303 to post an add.

If you are interested you can send me a PM. Even though I don't think it was the right way to go about it I SORTA agree with the post above. I've had luck selling my non "insert forum make/model" in my other car specific forums and you would be amazed how those who are fond of one type of vehicle (say an old FJ) are into the same sort of cars or hobbies you are.

Why the heck didn't you list the MODEL of vehicle???? There are many different MB "bluetec diesels", even sedans.

then i suggest they correct it one way or the other as the section has NEVER been expedition only. verbiage issue appear to have arisen when they broke the section into two.


edit: actually, not true. when you go back to the main page this sub forum is directly accessible, and not at all shown as a sub forum of "expedition vehicles", merely as a sub forum of the for sale and wanted section. the forum path is only shown after you enter.

Agree! I saw an article on a Porsche 911 (Alaska I think) and the owner takes that car everywhere (within reason, of course), but that's his rig for everything (Home Depot trips, too). Wish I could find the article.
