I don't care for American cars, but this bad boy, with a diesel engine, would be quite a nice overlanding platform.

Looks surprisingly like the new (insert any pickup truck maker here). Oh, for the days when Power Wagons were the coolest thing on the block before you even turned 'em on.

Yep, it's a sure sign that I'm getting older when I like truck porn better than real porn.

I was safely floating down denile on boat covered with lovley Nubian princesses, but now I realize they were vintage PW mechanics... That p-wagon is beyond nice. I WILL own one one some day!

Well that one has a big HEMI badge on the fender. If it had a Cummins it would be a great truck. Now if only Toyota would copy this truck: SAS, Hino deisel, winch, lockers, oh my:)

The Power Wagon will not have a diesel in the near future.

My truck can easily do that and more and I have a diesel. The only thing I don't have that a Power Wagon has is a locking rear diff. But if I went with the 1 inch smaller diff that a power wagon comes with I could get a locker.

May be a dumb question, but will that have a coil sprung rear axle like the 1500's? I just read the entire article on both the PW and the reg 2500/3500's and no mention. Just curious, because other than a Cummins that's the only improvement I could think of for a PW.

A lot of folks are unfamiliar with the rare Overland Edition package available on the Power Wagon. Besides the axle-mounted rotisserie chicken cooker, it also includes a side-by-side refrigerator freezer in the back seat. And when you order it, the dealer usually throws in a couple of Cummins badges that you can slap on the fenders so you don't have to listen to people saying, "too bad it doesn't have a diesel."
